AWESOME class!!! thanks, mike & tim!! i really enjoyed the class, and i learned a LOT about car care! who knew there was more than just washing and waxing/protection? (i'll admit that i didn't really know about the various options out there, and what the differences were...heehee...)

thanks for enlightening us on paint & car care, and how to keep our babies looking good!

an article will be posted at is300.net shortly, and we already have a thread going in our western regional forum.

meguiar's, thanks again for your generosity!! we appreciated all the food and snacks, as well as our goody buckets!

Alot of thanks to Dave for setting the meet up, Mike & Tim for taking the time to teach and demonstrate to us the right way to find the right products to use on our cars. Definitely a unique experience! Thanks to Wilz for letting us put swirl marks on your car! haha j/k. I will definitely look forward to upcoming and future clinics!

I can't thank Mike enough. I knew completely nothing, except how to wash and then wax your car. I even know less than that... for I have been washing my car the wrong way my whole live,... DISH WASHING SOAP!!! EVER AGAIN.

But after this class I have the convidence to put a mirror finish on any clear coat paint.

So thanks again Mike, and you to Tim for helping thing flow smoothly.

I think so, but off hand, I don't know his forum name. He'll be here in the United States for about a month and then he'll be heading back to the Philippines. He's going to SEMA too.

Thanks for hosting the Class. Now I know what product to use. It was pretty confusing to choose the large array of product selection.

Also Meguiar Online is a great resource. For Q $ A.

                          Thanks Mike. & Dave.

Dude that is 2 of the biggest Pizza I've seen. Thanks Barry...

I got a bottle of Scatch X before I got home..

Hey i wanted to thank Mike, Tim, and IS300er for putting this get together the one i never really expected for a first meet. anyhow this is a hell of a class. I really learned alot. The grit guard didn't really get me until i got home to detail my car and realized that i had a good sum of scratches on my car from using the same towel over again a few times. Well i learned my lesson and i guess i might use the scratch X. Vigorously this time. By the way Mike i think i remember you saying you detail cars on the side. Well my dad has an SL600(don't worry its a 95) and well its a got swirls worse than Wilz. Thats for sure. the interior is fine i would say, but i tryed using scratch X with force and it got some of the swirls out till i realized that this is gonna be a lot of work so i was wondering if you do detailing and how much. If you could Email me @ Hardtopic2004@yahoo.com that would be awesome.

                              Hi Bennyboy,

I'm not sure where you're located, but there are at least 4-6 local guys that hang out on this forum that detail cars that will be able to take care of your dad's car.

I have to say to everyone whose posting to this thread that also attended last weekends class, it was just as much fun for me as it was for everyone else!

Thanks for coming, let's schedule another one for next year for the folks on IS300.NET that didn't have a chance to make last weekends event and for anyone that would like to come back again!
