Open Class - July 26th, 2008 - Pictures & Comments
Thoroughly enjoyed today's class you kept the class interesting with knowledge & humor. From what I saw & learned today, you've made a customer, for life. Barry should give you a pay raise, for the quality job you do! I was the guy with the red 'Honda Fit.' Now excuse me while I go practice, what I learned.

Mike,
Awesome class today! I actually had fun while learning. Before I took this class I was still debating on whether or not to open up a mobile detailing business. After learning how to correctly buff a car using the DA buffer, I am more confident in the detailing business. That was my weakest link in the business.
I actually called the 800 number to purchase the DA buffer, pads, and the 80 glaze after witnessing the transformation you made on the Mazda today; however, I called during non business hours. Anyways, hope to attend another entertaining class soon.

Another killer class at Meguiar's Garage!
A big thank you to everyone that attended and also a thank you to Kimberly and John for letting us demo on their cars... Here's a few pics... more on Monday!
A full classroom with 35 people in attendance
Recent paint job but they butchered the buffing step after painting...
Here's the owner Kimberly learning to use the G100 to remove swirls
Everyone gets a chance to inspect the results under a hot and sunny SoCal Saturday!
And the results...
John let us show how to remove light swirls out of his pristine 1964 Porsche
Another fun day at Meguiar's Garage!

I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR A BRISK PACED, EXTREMELY INFORMATIVE AND VERY WELL ORGANIZED CLASS. IT TAKES A RARE INDIVIDUAL TO CONTROL ALMOST 40 INQUISITORS OF VARIOUS BACKGROUNDS WITH THEIR UNDERSTANDING ON AUTO FINISHES.
JOB WELL DONE.

Mike, Thanks again for the class. I always pick up something new about detailing my cars. I didn't make the lottery for the August advanced class. Maybe next time. Steve

Mike, the Saturday class was outstanding!. Here is just some things I learned. How and what to look for on a painted finish. How to test what product & technique to use. How to use the products correctly. Getting a show winning result is easier than I expected. Where to go for help. Thanks for the head knowledge, that you stressed, and the hands on experiences. They gave me the confidence to be able to get a show car finish on my cars.
PS
Barry, you must already know how important these classes are.

Mike,
Thank you for the head knowledge at the saturday class and i'll take it with a grain of salt. I believe a car is an extension of your personality, so you must always take care of things. I know that there is still alot more information out there that i can learn so i'll just be patiently waiting. I'm looking to the advanced class if and when i get chosen. Thanks again...
