Mike, thanks for the link! Theyre aren't too many bodyshops that i drive by on my regular commute though
EDIT: ouch about that backing plate. I don't know for sure if my order was shipped in full or ?

apparently Jose was suppose to tell us that the backplate are out of stock. So i'm assuming everyone's order is getting shipped incomplete without the backing plate.
Below is the email i recieved
Eddie,
I was forwarded your email from Mike Phillips. Your order was placed on Monday and shipped. The UPS tracking # is ** if you would like to track it. Coming from Tennessee I would guess it will arrive at the beginning of next week. I hope Jose made you aware that the backing plate for the machine is on back order and will ship immediately to you when we receive more. Sorry for any inconvenience. Feel free to give us a call at 800-347-5700 if you need anything else at all.

thanks for the update... because no i was not aware of that. That is quite the bummer. I guess i can just sit around and not wax things. I was hoping to do my car on saturday night, but i guess ill have to wait a bit.
Are backing plates something that wears out? should i consider just going out and buying one because i might need two anyway?http://www.hspn.com - Changing the way enthusiasts think!

Hmmm wonder how?
To add an Avatar to your name on a forum there is usually an option for this in the User CP, or User Control panel.
You can either right click on the photo and save it to your computer for example to your Desktop, and then upload it to the forum where you want it from the User CP, or you can link to it by right clicking on the photo and highlighting and then copying and pasting the URL Address into the place provded for the address in the User CP interface.
It probably sounds harder than it really is.
The most important thing is to know the size limit you are restricted to for your Avatar, most forums are between 80 pixels and 100 pixels, ours on this forum is set to 150 pixesl.
Here's 150 pixels... (What you currently have here on this forum)
Here's the same Avatar at 100 pixels wide,
And here's the same Avatar at 80 pixels wide,
As you can see, it's more fun to have a larger Avatar than a smaller one! By the way I created these Avatar's using EasyThumbnails which you can learn more about here,

After wiping the car down and then claying the finish, we went over the techniques required to remove defects by hand and also by using the G100 dual action polisher.
Applying ScratchX by hand,
Here's a how-to article on using ScratchX by hand,
How to remove a defect by hand with ScratchX
Next we went over how to use the G100 with a W-8006 foam polishing pad with our M80 Speed Glaze on how to use good technique to remove swirls by hand. We followed the same directions as outlined here,
Using the G-100 to remove swirls with the Professional Line
Both of the above how to articles can be found in the How-To section of the Information Station
By the way, almost all of the information we cover in our classes and almost all of the questions that are asked at our classes can be found in the Information Station

After going over techniques, and then some hands-on training, everyone was invited to step up to the plate and try their hand at using the G100 dual action polisher to remove swirls...
