This would be EXCELLENT. I would love to come.

Are there any charges for classes? You could just turn it into a holiday too.

      Brilliant.

It's about an hour away without traffic, anybod's guess if you hit bad traffic. If at all possible, the John Wayne Airport is just so much better.

No charge, but if a number of people want to start planning on a trip to SoCal for a visit to Meguiar's I would really like to coordinate something for a group rather than sporadic appearances if this is at all possible.

Plus I can get you the Corporate discount at the nearby Ayres Hotel & Suites,

LAX to Meguiar's is about 42 miles. It's a pretty simple route; 40 miles down the 405 freeway then either surface streets or a short jog on the 55 freeway. In clear traffic it should take about 45 minutes.

Unfortunately the 405's a main artery for a lot of travel around LA/OC and it won't be clear sailing very often, especially during commute periods. Don't cut your timing close if you have a flight to catch.

What's really cool, if you have the time, is to skip the freeway and just cruise along the streets through the beach cities. The route's rather more complex and takes considerably longer but you can't visit California without cruising the beach.

fantastic, thank you so much Mike and PC,

              heres the rough plan,

how many people do you recommend for the classes?

it will be around the end of August( at a guess we'll arrive in the US on the 25th and leave the 30th).

once i've got numbers sorted i'm looking to book the flights and hotel by the end of march to give people time to get over the xmas and easter periods.

I'd forgotten about this, unfortunatly no

I've just moved house and that ate up all my money and some of the others have had different things come up.

Hopefully we will be able to sort something out fairly soon as i'm planning to emigrate to New Zealand in a couple of years, so that will triple the cost to get to the US.
