Just a note, the only portion of the website that is active right now is the community portion, I think on Monday they will be launching the rest of the features. Perhaps I can get Peter to chime in on this thread...

I have begun to figure out the site a litle more with the help of Peter but it is a little difficult to navigate around and to actually know what you are really doing. As of right now it doesn't seem like the forum type of site but more of the site for people to pass info about cars along to the other member's in blog form. Will be interesting to see how it pans out.

Thank you for your early participation in the new CarCrazyCentral.com community. Your comments and questions have brought valuable insight to us before we go live to the world Nov. 1. We are in the process of making it so new members and visitors understand quicker what this new type of community is. Please bear with us as we continue to work out the kinks. Also, see below a few comments to give everyone on MOL a little insight into this new type of community:

- this is not a typical forum although you can connect in groups and discuss topics on any related subject

- we are not attempting to compete with existing forums. By the end of Nov we will have a link to MOL inside the CarCrazyCentral community so you can take advantage of the features and benefits of both communities.

- this new type of community is a social site for automotive enthusiasts to share their vehicles, stories and passion on their own online space

- the concept is similar to myspace/friendster/etc. However, this is the first social community specifically designed for automotive enthusiasts.

- we are the first community to offer video uploads...this gives enthusiasts a new, unique way to show off their vehicles and their lifestyle

Sorry for the long-winded thread. Our hope is to use the form of community to connect automotive enthusaists around the world. Car Guys like to show off their vehicle and even more talk about them.
