Hello everyone,
My name is kevin and I just signed up for this forum this evening. I am a car detailing enthusiast and detail cars whenever I get the chance. I want to some day mix it in with my profession that is going to be painting cars.
Right now, I drive a 1992 Honda accord that looks terrible. The problem is clear coat failure, mainly on the hood. I am scared to mess with a rotary buffer seeing as how I have never used one. I do not know what to do about it. Are there any suggestions?
I have not detailed very many cars, and the extent that I go to when I actually do detail cars is not nearly to the point that I want it. The only real jobs that I have done are for my friend’s mom who was selling her jeep, and my moms van. Washing the outside, dressing the tires and rims, and shampooing the carpet and cleaning and dressing the dashboard.
I have been reading posts on here for about the past 2 weeks, and finally decided to join. You all seem like nice people who I could potentially learn allot of information from. So I hope that you guys will accept me into your circle and I can continue learning about Meguiars products and the art of detailing a car.
Sorry about me rambling on, I just wanted to introduce myself and tell everyone why it is that I joined.
Sincerely.
