The shirt should be for sale in the European Meguiars shop as well.

How far is this idea? Are there enough replies to make a choice about the color, model etc?

          sizes

My hope is that a wide range of sizes is available. Not everybody is "average" size. I personally would want a 5x shirt.

What did happen to this idea, did someone actually produce a shirt?

I investigated the production of a Dutch MeguiarsForum shirt a few time ago....
These were the prices I found.

            T Shirt € 18,-
            Polo € 25,-
            Sweater € 30,-

All with a embroidered logo on the chest and the URL on the arm ends.

I stopped with this action because I'm not working for Meguiar's, producing the Shirts could be seen as a break in at the Meguiar's brandrights....... (copyrights and stuff)

I passed-off this information to some people that do work with branded items, but so far no one has taken on becoming the Champion of this action item. Instead the conversations went towards offering a shirt already being made, i.e. a Meguiar's logo shirt.

So if there is enough demand and desire by the members of this community for a custom shirt specific to this forum, i.e. a "Meguiar's Online Shirt", incorporating our logo and look, then I'll have to get some numbers and information.

I've never done this before but I'll guess this is what will have to be done...

First, I'll need to find out how many shirts can we sell. Meguiar's is not going to have a run of shirts made unless we know they are going to be purchased.

Pretty simple I know, but that's really the question that has to be answered in order to get a signature on a piece of paper that gets the ball rolling.

Pricing will be another issue to determine and make all parties happy.

Part of determine the above will come back to,

              * Style of shirt, or styles of shirts
              * Sizes of shirts available, S, M, L, XL, XXL, etc.

And I'm sure there are other considerations.

My own opinion on this is either a Polo Shirt or a Chubavera Shirt with my preference being the Chubavera shirt. I can take pictures of the 4 different styles of Meguiar's shirts I currently have so everyone can see the differences and then I'll do my best to post some comments about them.

Keep in mind we are going to upgrade the forum in the first quarter of 2006.

This means we will be upgrading to the newest version of vBulletin and along with this we will be getting a new skin as we cannot upgrade and us the current skin.

Here's a thread on that topic,

              MOL to be update soon...

So we should probably wait until the forum changes have been made and then create the shirt using the new look of the forum and forum logo.

Of course, we're open to suggestions...

As in, similar to the black Meg's polos I've seen pictures of you, Mike Pennington, and others wearing? (The one with the NXT logo on the sleeve caps) I've been wanting one of those for quite some time now. I have a Meg's sweatshirt which is great to work in in the early spring and into the fall, but during the "main" part of the season I'd love to have something like this to wear.

Of course I've also been toying with getting my "logo" embroidered on a few polo shirts as well to wear....

I would be interested in a Black polo first and a black t-shirt second.

I would be willing to fork out $25-30 for a polo and probably about $15-$20 for a t-shirt.

So far as logo preference, probably breast pocket would look best.

If the pictures will be labeled as such, no worries; if not, what is a Chubavera Shirt?

Mike, chubavera? Do you mean Cubavera?

It is a company started in Miami by Cuban Americans. They took the word Cuba and Guyabera (pronounced -goo-whya-bera) and came up with the company name.

For those that don't know it is a loose fitting shirt made to be worn outside of your pants. It has a simular design and feel of a bowling shirt but made with a lighter material.

I'd deff lay down at least $30 for a quality shirt.

Also how about some window stickers. My Carcrazy sticker is all alone, I'd love to get a Meguiar's Sticker to join it. Plus I'd be a free rolling advertizement for Meguiars'

I'd say, wait till the forum is redone.....

What if the colors slightly change?

My vote is for a Lime Green shirt...... this isn't produced by Meguiar's so far.

Yes, i also am intrested in either Polo Or Cubavera maybe even both or all mentioned prior....But unless we know how the updated forums look like we should wait unless mike can give us a sneek peek at least the logo either way i can wait.....

Few things to mention there are iron on patches, embrodiery, silk screening just to name.....also it would be awsome too have one color for nxt and another for meguiars forum or if majority favor combined decided what color of shirt(maybe front half nxt purple then the back meguiars forum colors or so-kind of like FedEx.....

Just a Suggestion-Not to mention we need a head count either we should post another topic for those intrested and enter your email address and how many we want so we can get a figure once we have that then you can take to the shop who will handles this and get an estimate.....if im not mistaken the more shirt the better but it not always(unless the shirt our purchased elsewhere if thats allowed)....also to mention the usual charge a set up fee ....once (then you can order as many shirt as you want-whenever you want )...i think once we get a head count talk to the shop let them know what you want (design) and how many they will let you know how $$ .....then let us know (members)and those who are still serious either paypal mike or whatever method mike will accept prior to order so he wont be stiff or we know for sure who is serious or not ....just a thought...by the way its real early in the morning escuse my misspell......By the way GOOD MORNING TO ALL

Yes I just miss-typed and since Cubavera isn't in my IE Spell dictionary, (It is now), it didn't catch it and neither did I.
