hi guys, i need to ask a favor
i'm going to buy 5 of these torches for myself and other members of megs UK, as they're coming to me first i need to post them on.

i've tried emailing the company to find out the weight of one boxed torch but no reply, would someone who has got one be able to weigh a boxed one for me please and let me know how much in Kilos please.

many, many, many thanks in advance Alex.

p.s i'm really sorry if i posted this in the wrong place

They actually come in a plastic covering. Unfortunately I threw mine away. If needed, I can give the weight of the light, Cigarette Lighter Adaptor, Wall Adaptor and the Instruction Pamphlet.

Ok But I can't weigh it until I get to work tonight which will be 11PM Eastern Time. The only scales I have at the house are bathroom scalles and I doubt they are accurate enough for your concern. The ones we have at work are digital and are calibrated regularly as we use them to weigh aircraft parts on them.

I keep the light and all the accessories with me in the truck so I will not forget them. I'll check the trash out the house if I think about it. I just bought mine the other day and the plastic cover "might" still be in the trash. Hope so anyway.

I almost forgot about you. Glad I saved the email as a reminder.

            I just weighed it up.

            1 Dual XENON light
            1 Cigarette Lighter adaptor
            1 Wall Adaptor
            1 instruction Pamplet
            1 Gallon Ziplock Bag

            Total was Exaclty 1.0K

I did not have the plastic packaging as my office trash was thrown out. So I put it in a Gallon Ziplock Baggie to weigh to better appoximate the weight of the Original Package.

Overall I like mine so far. My problem is I have a new Honda Ridgeline and my paint is very bright white. This light is super bright and between the two there is so much glare it's hard for me to see anything.

I did use it on a metallic Gold PT Cruiser tonight and yes it did help to reveal some issues. All in all it will make for a great handy light.

I think some folks actually use a Black Light for defect finding but I an unsure about this.

Just out of curiosity, who did you order them from and how much did they cost?

i think it was Boaters world, theres a thread on MOL UK in the general section,
due to a money shortage i'll be ordering them in 4 weeks time, to order 1 works out about £43, im due to order 5 which'll work out £28.72 + £3.70 P&P from my house, if you wanted to add to the order it'll work out a little cheaper.
