  • I've had it...

I am done trying to keep my Mustang in tip-top shape. Cats keep jumping on it while its covered in dust, got ultra fine swirls on it after spending 5 hrs getting all of the old ones out. I am just going to stick to Cleaner Wax for now, with an occasional coat of #26 or DC3. I plan on getting a very nice paint job for it once I have a garage, a paved road, and some money, so I dont feel too bad about it. I am not going to neglet it, just not go on a rampage everytime I get a scratch, etc. I am actually more relaxed now just not worrying about my car so much.

It's hard to keep an every day car in perfect condition.

I think it's easier to just try and hide minor imperfections than it is to do paint correction every few days.....Although I can feel for anyone that has to drive on a dirt road often.....Not to mention the cat problem too.

Yeah, I have a buddy that wants me to detail his car with him. I keep putting it off because everytime I look at the backend of his car it looks like he just finshed a BAJA race.

I just know it will look great until he gets it home. Maybe I can just runover it with some cleaner wax. I am not trying to put a full detail on it.
