Back from Vacation
Well, I see this has been a very busy forum since I've been gone. When I left there were just over 400 members, now there are over 700 in ONE WEEK. That has got to be a record. Also when I left each day there would be 26 messages and maybe 2 new post started. Now 46 a day is a small number. Ever try to read 300 messages at one time.
Anyway, glad to be back. Noticed alot of nice looking cars in Fla. It's amazing that before I would notice waxed cars, now I look for scratchless, smooth paint, cobwebless, (I think that's a new word), you know, The Meguiar Look, not many cars have that look.
Had some people ask about my van and were surprised that it is a 91. They wanted to know how I kept the paint looking so new. Didn't have the heart to tell them they should have seen it 2 weeks ago. But I did tell them about Meguiar's.
Anyway good to be back.

Your right about education. When I first joined this forum I thought that detailing a car was a wash and wax. Now I have learned about clay, polish, wax, the 5 step method, carpet cleaning, wheels, engine, so many things. Really all you have to do is read and sometimes ask a few questions. We now have people from all over the world here, UK, Scottland, Finland, its unreal how word spreads. I can tell this is going to be a great forum. (I think Mike is going to be a star like Leo Laporte.)
