    How does Pay Pal work?

Is there a lot of red tape to opening an account?......Any maintenance fees?

Its very easy to open the account, and there are no fees involved for maintenance or sending money. I have had an account with them for a couple of years, eBay bought them out to make it easier for people to pay for stuff they win, it works well.

I have paypal and have for several years... like RedSoxRacer said there is no fee to send money. Works very quick and easy. You will need to tie a checking account to the paypal account to transfer funds. I choose to receive credit card payments from my eBay sales so there is a fee to that service when someone pays me.

So there's a fee when you get paid for something?

There is only a fee for Premier and Business Accounts.

Get detailed information about PayPal's consumer fees. Find PayPal's prices for sending or receiving money, internationally or domestically.

Go there for their fee chart.

Thanks for the link, but what constitutes a business account?.....Is it determined by the amount that you sell online?

            Sorry so many questions.

I think the only difference in business and premier is that business gets multiple logins and is for business use only.
