  • NXT Wax just not cutting it...

I think that I might not be using this again on my car, not that it is a bad product, I prefer the look of DC3/#26 better.

Anyone else prefer the look of carnaubas over synthetics?

    Edit: Don't know why I put #7...

It gives me a very glossy great look!

Are you doing a full prep... all 5 Steps?

If you feel carnubas look better, stick with Gold Class maybe, but I prefer Nxt Tech Wax

I'm with you on this one. NXT looks great initially, but to me, the DC3 or 26 looks better longer. I also like the protection of these two over NXT, even though the general consesus is that NXT protects better. Just my .02.

We are probably in the minority on this one.

Nah, you guys aren't alone. Everybody who's really particular will have their preferences. I'm use carnaubas on two of our vehicles and I really like how they look. I *always* use carnauba on the XJS, it just "looks right" to me on that paint.

i just top the nxt with #26, best of both worlds maybe..but i noticed when i topped the nxt, with #26, it removed a lil of the metallic pop it had before the #26 was applied..

I like the way the nxt looks, especially on metallic cars, however, you should only apply what looks best to your eyes, because that is what matters. This is why Meguairs doesnt just sell one wax. I love 26 and NXT, just for different situations.

I tell you, #21 is my new "WOW". Every time I look at it I am impressed.

Really, it's like preferring cherry pie to apple. Both are great, but if you can only have one which would you pick? And someone else picks the other.

As the light changed from red to green to yellow and back to red again, I sat there thinking about life. Was it nothing more than a bunch of honking and yelling? Sometimes it seemed that way.
