We are finally getting some much needed rain here in the Northeast today.

I was out running a few errands and was pleasantly reminded of the beauty of a good coat of wax. There is a certain amount of satisfaction in seeing rain beading up and "dancing" off the hood as you drive....

So thanks Meguiar's for Nxt liquid and # 26. They brought out one of life's simple pleasures.

Now I just have wait for the rain to stop.....then a little truck washing!

I know what you mean too. We here in PA are getting rain for the first time in weeks. Last night, my wife and I had to go to my son's school for a meeting on musical instruments. When we got out, it just finished pouring out. I walked over to my car (which has 2 coats of NXT) and saw it beading up like mad. I looked at my wife and said "See, there's the pay off right there". She just rolled her eyes at me. She can't figure out how I could talk for hours about car detailing. Its gotta be a guy thing or something. She really got upset when I was driving and I said "Watch This" and stopped a little suddenly to watch the water roll off. But, she sure loves driving around in a shinney Explorer, so she won't get too mad about the obsession. LOL.

no kidding i just noticed that today too. but the thing that made me mad is around 11am it started lightly raining, enough to make puddles and get the road soaked. by 2pm the sun was out in full force. i was about to get out the QD and start misting away, but started back raining about 2:15-2:20. thats what makes me mad the most.

I always enjoy seeing Meguiars products in action.... Its kind of fun to speed up and watch the rain roll of your hood as soon as it hits it! Have your passenger make a game out of it, pick a couple rain drops out and seen what one falls off the hood first.
