  • Close encouter of the Meguiar's Kind

While at work tonight I had to go pick up a package from the gate. While up there waiting for the courier, one of the Navy Security folks came over with "THAT LOOK" in his eye. Offered up several compliments on my truck and started commenting about his. Come to find out we were both loyal to Meg's products. He started calling off what he used for this application and that.

We'll me being the boy scout that I am I went in the trunk and started pulling out the Ultimate Organizer and a couple of my other Meguiar's Buckets and Bags full of goodies. He fell in love with the shine on my tires. Well, out comes the can of Insane Shine. :-) I was prepared I tell ya. The only thing I don't keep in the truck are the actual washing supplies. Everything else was there. Pulled out the brand new unopened bag of Utimate Wipes. I thought the man was gonna rub one on his chin.

He is a hard core Meg's customer but gets all of his products off the shelf where ever he can find it, and pretty much uses whatever might be on the shelf if his 1st choice is out of stock. So I was able to steer him to the site. Highly recommended he get involved in the forums and dropped the hints about the DA as he is a sworn "HAND RUBBER". He had jumbled Rotarys and DAs into one batch and was scared of all of them.

Anyway, I made me a new buddy outta the deal. Gave him my phone number and invited him to give me a call and we would set up a weekend for him to come to the house and we will "MEGUIARIZE HIS RIDE".

Edited with an afterthought here. I sure am glad I started looking into the detailer line with it's larger quantities. I keep doing friends and families vehicles for them at no charge just because I enjoy it. I'd have to get the consumer line stuff in case quantities to keep up at this rate.
