Here is my new 'beast.' Her name is Mopsy, she's a 7 week old, papered Old English Sheepdog. The wife was really upset when her 5 y/o "mamma's girl" dog 'Ginger' ran away right in front of us last month. After trying everything to find Ginger, we did some serious research on thed 'net about dog breeds and what would get along with our ferrets.

Fortunately, one of the best dogs with small animals is also one that the wife has always wanted...the OES.

Just took off, we had just given her a bath. Normally she doesn't stray more than 5 feet from the wife when she's loose. One of the reasons we had to put a 6' stockade fence around the backyard was to keep the dog from following the wife when she would go to the neighbor's or just sit in the front yard.
