Sitting here thinking over the idea Meg's had of selling the products on the Ebay site. Greeat Idea BTW.
Anywho. Something popped into my mind.
What if, there could be some sort of organized effort, possibly coordinated by Meg's. Lets say a respectable number of deatailers, both pro and hobbiest, could be organized in a given area. And these detailers would be willing to volunteer, say a weekend each. These detailers could detail up rides and the proceeds could go to a chosen charity.
Of course there is alot more to it than that but the idea is there. Would definetly take alot of organizing and discussing but the concept is good. I am no organizer nor am I familiar with fund raising activities but I for one would be willing to come out and work side by side with other enthusiasts for a good cause. I live in MD and would be willing to drive say 150 miles or so to support something like this.
Something like this would likely not be able to be put together for Katrina but the groundwork could be layed for future events.
