These products are things like excess inventory, discontinued products, or items that cannot be put into distribution due to packaging requirements or limitations.

The car wash strips are a great deal.

2.71 and you get 20. That makes it cost abotu 13 cents in suds to prepare the weash.

And wax for less than $4 wow. Usually only inferrior products are sold for prices like that. Actually, I would say these great products are sold at prices below that of inferrior products.

Any idea if there are upcoming plans to add new items to the store? The selection is now quite limited. I'm sure you could get away with slightly higher prices for newer items such as the NXT line and the GC accessories. I keep checking back every hour or so to see if anything has been added just to make sure I don't miss any great deals!

Katrina Relief Fund

I wanted to take a moment to give some information to all Forum Members as it relates to the Katrina Relief Store on Ebay. Our intent is simple, sell some product to our valued customers at some smokin deals and donate the profits to Convoy of Hope.

As you all know, our primary business here is making the best products in the world while catering to the automotive enthusiasts. All of you on this forum are some of our most valued customers and we truly appreciate and respect your opinions, which is why I wanted to take a moment to explain some of the questions I have been seeing.

1) Freight charges. Ok, I will be honest, I am not an expert on Ebay. When we first setup the freight charges, we accidently charged $5.00 per item. Within an hour, we realized we made a mistake and switched it to our current system of $5.00 for the first item and $1.00 for each item thereafter. If you were incorrectly charged, please file for a refund and we will take care of it as soon as we can. This product should be shipping out by the end of the week and the order volume has been significant, but we will get it to you as soon as we can.

2) The product selection. The products you see were chosen for a variety of reasons, but again, the end goal is to sell product at great prices and raise some money for the victims of Katrina. If your favorite product isn't listed, we do appologize, but will also ask you to check back and who knows, maybe you will see something you like. Understand that we will not be putting every item Meguiar's manufacturers on the store.

3) Shipping outside of the US. We have made the conscious decision to make this a domestic US program only. For those of you outside of this area, we do appoligize for any inconvenience.

4) Adding product as it is sold out. This is a first come, first served program. We will be adding some items, but others are sold out when they are sold out...again, just keep checking back.

I hope this helps clear the air with this program. Again, all of here at Meguiar's truly appreciate all the support our online community provides and I personally look forward to seeing the chat continue on this topic. With your help, we will make a difference.

IMO, if someone chooses to donate $900+ dollars and buys all the towels, OK. It was more than I was gonna do through this avenue (already donated about 10 different places).
