Got on my Friday evening detailing earlier this evening. My boys came outside looking for something to get into and asked if they could help. I gave them each a MF and told them to clean the chrome wheels with Speed Detailer. I misted one MF, told Joey to wipe each wheel one at a time then had J.R. come behind him with the dry MF for the wipe off. They were the ideal height.
Anyway, every friday evening at the local A&W rootbeer fast food joint the local Vette club meets up for the weekly meet. We always head over there on fridays to check out the cars and grab us some of those fine RootBeer Floats.
Some of the owners came over checking my truck out and we got to talking. Of of course all of the used Meg's stuff so wasn't much sense in pursueing that. But was a nice evening with other car nuts.
But something that caught my attention when getting in my truck was my 10 Year old Joey. I noticed he slid just a far as he could over against the passenger side door. He had reclined his seat back just a tad (For the COOL look). And he was trying to look cool while reclined while still trying his hardest to hang his arm out the window (For the extra cool points). Well, between trying to recline & get the arm out the window he was having a hard time of sitting in the seat. He finally figurred it out by raising his tail off the seat about 4-6". Funny sight. But, COOL POINTS were achieved all in all.
I waited till we were out of the A&W parking lot before I had the heart to tell him to sit properly. I got a kick out of it though. I think he is as proud of the work he did on the truck as I usually am after a good detailing session.
