  • A letter Of Apology

    Dear fellow MOL members,

It has come to my attention here of late that some of the forum member(s) have complained about my excessive postings. Some have said that my posts have a "Me Too" flavor about them, and I'll admit that my postings have been quite a few at times.

But I have had a lot of time on my hands here of late, and I have used the forum as a relief valve of sorts. I have a disabled daughter that has uncontrollable seizures at times each month, plus she had brain surgery to boot a while back. Not to mention I have 2 other people living here at home with disabling conditions as well.......Finances have not been too great here either of late.

As I said above, posting with you guys has been a relief valve for me to help me get my mind off of a stressful situation. I have only tried to be of service here at MOL, as I like to help people if I can with their detailing questions. Maybe I get off topic too much, but I guess we're all guilty of that sometimes.

Due to the complaint(s) of some, I have decided to cut back on my postings here at MOL. This is a great forum, with great people, and I would not want my postings to be viewed as a burden for others to read.

    God Bless All Of You,

    James Martin (Rusty Bumper)

I've always gotten great info from you. I hope you don't cut back. I don't think the value of this fourom is post counts. If they don't like the info you give they are free to skip to the next post. Sorry to hear about your luck right now, I hope things get better for you soon. Keep your head up.

      Hello James,

I'll go along with 2000 absolutely plus I thougth that's what forum's like this were for and I didn't see anthing about a restriction on Post numbers.

Without wishing to step on anyones toes could I suggest that those complaining perhaps have too much time on thier hands.

Top man Rusty Bumper keep up the good work, and no appologies required.

      Thanks
      Bryan

          Rusty,

I with all of the above post thus far above. To just to add to it, I think you have experience and I always look foward to your opinion (Even when it is in two words or less) . I will look forward in the future to your opinion. Besides, your the one I count on for opinions on my lame posts

Shrug. Post whatever you want. I didn't notice anything out of line. A "me too" from someone who knows what they're doing is OK.

As the light changed from red to green to yellow and back to red again, I sat there thinking about life. Was it nothing more than a bunch of honking and yelling? Sometimes it seemed that way.

              Howdy Rusty,

Personally, unless one of the moderators has said something, I'd just pretty much ignore it.

And unless the people doing the complaining have post nothing but info, that's useful to every single user in every single post, with no filler, me too's or anything remotely off topic 100% of the time (I'd have to include "Good work, Great Job"... posts in that, if the complaint came from such a person), I mean if their going to complain, their noses have got to be clean first.

So post, vent, me too, relax and escape... till the cows start to shine ! (due to 12 coats of NXT of course)

                        Hey James

Any presumption that your posts are not helpful or enjoyable is ridiculous.

Post on my friend, I never cease to enjoy reading them.

If MOL gives relief from your day and helps you relax or forget for a minute or two then I say keep posting and let the disenters skip your posts. I wish you and your the family the best and hope things will improve for you.

Rusty Bumper, in my ever-so-humble opinion you have absolutely nothing to apologize for. I have always found your posts to be helpful, friendly and perfectly suited for a forum like this.

Sorry to hear about your daughter.. I have always thought that your information was good. Sometimes you have to ignore people, and pay no attention to what they say. Hope your daughter gets well. Just wondering where in North Carolina do you live? Good Luck!
