    Not enough information.

Right now trade in values are depressed by the low prices on new cars. A dealer can't give too much for the trade, if they do then the car will be competing with newer cars or new cars.

As the light changed from red to green to yellow and back to red again, I sat there thinking about life. Was it nothing more than a bunch of honking and yelling? Sometimes it seemed that way.

I found out what the problem was from the sales manager, the owner is a dumb arse. His son traded in one exactly like mine but a year older last month, he gave him $13k for it. He thinks it's the same year, but his was an 03, mines an 04. I know, I detailed it. He's one of those people who won't admit to his mistake so this deal is dead. I would have taken $14k for it, which is more than fair. I've bought 7 cars in the last 5 years from this place and my family together has bought almost 15 total in the same time. He lost all that over $1000.
