Amazon.com just launched a beta "Automotive" section. They seem to have a large selection of Meguiar's (and other) car care products. Sorry fellow Canadians: Once again we are left with the short end of the stick.

Check it out. Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax (liquid) rounds out the top ten top sellers.

Been saving my pennies for a big order ($150+ is big for me). Of the items that Amazon is currently carrying, I can save myself about $25.00. This does not include comparison of S/H.

I am disappointed that they are carrying most of the new GC accessories. That accounts for 4 of the 18 things I am wanting to pick up. Guess I'll have to check back to see if they've been added.

Y'know, I found it funny that the $55 gallon drum of Wheel Brightener, at $576, is listed right next to a single glass wipe for $0.79...

It might be best to do searches by the products name, as it searches the whole Automotive section. Not all products list the Meguiar's SKU#, so product name should give you the best results. (Although that might not always help as some of the sellers didn't spell too well as you can see above. Now I guess I better do a speel chek!)

Bare in mind that some items that may appear to be available may not be, I recently ordered a set of Hi-Tech applicators but the store didn't have them in stock anymore.

Yeah, they show they still have #16. Only $9.67 too. I wouldn't hold my breath on that being there.

Mybe I'll just grab a quick 55 gallons of All Season Dressing and 5 gallons on Hyper Wash. At 400:1 I can fill my Jacuzzi.

To my understanding, they collect stuff from the vendors and send it to you in one big box. Is that right?

I don't like how it's all from different vendors. Any problems from people who have already ordered?

Sparkle Auto is one of the distributors on the site and I have gone through them a couple of times. The only thing I have noticed from ordering from Amazon is the processing can take a couple days and the shipping can run in upwards of $20. Still a great place to buy from though.

Amazon doesn’t even send orders from their own warehouses in one box unless everything happens to be in the same place when you order it. Just about every order I’ve ever gotten from them was split into multiple shipments from different locations and times.

When you make an order through Amazon from one of their partner vendors your stuff gets shipped directly from the vendor. Amazon only handles the money.

Multiple vendors does mean multiple shipping charges and multiple organizations to deal with so you have to take that into account. I’ve had good luck with the Amazon merchants and resellers I’ve dealt with but I’ve never ordered detailing supplies through Amazon myself.

For example: I just paid $9.99 + $4.73 shipping for a Water magnet Towel, take into account that I live overseas, and this is the only way for me to get these products. And yes they are shipped separately, so basically I got screwed with the shipping.
But it was worth it

I guees if you live in the States it's not really convenient to get it through Amazon, because you can go to your local auto store and get it there.
