Yes but not tdue to gas prices. I am a family man now and the sole income provider at home. Business and my family take allot of my time.

I am more selective to the which shows and cruises I attend.

If prices keep going up, then it looks like we'll have see a loan officer just to buy a tank of gas!

Hey, no fair stealing my material But, unfortunately you are very close to right, and the worst part about it, neither the 'Oil Companies' or the politicians they own, could care less how much they hurt everyone. Besides, they've always hated that 20th Century American creation called the 'Middle Class.'

Yeah, but it just isn't the same without that car or truck you worked so hard to restore. The good news, if there is any to be had here, is that my 1960 Plymouth is very economical to run, equipped as it is with a 'Slant-Six.' The bad news, is that is still requires gasoline to run

                      Boohoo, stop crying.

                      Premium was $1.059 CND/L this week, that's $4.02 CND/Gal, or $3.30 USD/Gal!

Yes it does affect some plans, yet for the most part a 10-15% increase isn't that big a deal. Gas is down 5% today, so really the 15% increase we saw is back to 10% and will probably be down to 5% next week.

Unfortunately gasoline has gone up by a lot more than 10-15% around here since about April 2005, and virtually every day it jumps by anywhere from 3-12 cents a gallon. There have been a few backslides in gasoline prices, but they've been short lived, and wiped put by subsequent increases. On top of that, our thieving Legislators, who plundered the State 'Transportation Trust Fund', used for road repair, are now waiting until just after the Fall elections to zap us with a 10-15 cent a gallon increase in the State gasoline tax. So, no relief in sight around here

I got a good look at you restored car, and it looks just like the one that Sgt. Carter used to drive on Gomer Pyle USMC.

We actually have some of the cheapest gas in the world here in America. I think it is just something that is destined to occur, there is only so much oil on the earth. Perhaps a drastic price increase will force manufacturers to produce more efficient motors.

I get about 35+ mpg even with 8100 available revs so it doesn't bother me near as much.

If I remember right, the car that Sgt Carter drove on 'Gomer Pyle USMC', was a 1960 Dodge Dart, which was a full size car that model year.
