I would like to thank those of you who have posted on this thread as it is appreciated as I work for London Underground and i am still in a bit of a state about the events of today plus when i arrived in London I was about 100 yards away from the bus explosion and it blew me off my feet knocking me flat on my back over 30 ft from where i was standing

These people have no understanding of us Brits and really we thrive on little runts like these people who spinelessly attacked innocent people including children of all faiths we knew it would happen but we just did not know when it would happen

All i would say is that this will make our resolve even stronger that our way of life will not be dictated to by the gun or a bomb ONLY Democracy in the Oldest Democracy in the world will ever change anything

Once again thanks for you warm support IT IS APPRECIATED AND I NEEDED TO SEE THIS TO GIVE ME THE STRENGTH TO COPE WITH ALL THAT IS GOING ON AT THE MOMENT THANK YOU

          Thanks Zey and all

Lord Lucan glad your ok. Thankfully I was in Peterborough yesterday but my brother was in Liverpool Street station when the first bomb went off.

Living in Romford a number of my friends get the Liverpool Street, Circle line each day, i am still waiting to hear from 1 of them.

Words cannot describe what i would like to do to these heartless, sick animals, and they are certainly not for this forum.

          Take care

          Rob

Lord Lucan, Rob66 and brother, thank God you all are safe. I used to stay in Sussex Gardens (5 minutes walk from Edgware Road Station) and I love London so much until today. I have several friends who are still staying in Central London and again thank God they're all safe. Hope everyone will be more alert and beware with any suspicious parcels.

There's no room in the free world for these punks! They suffer because of their religious fanaticism. They try to impose themselves on people outside of their world simply because they don't understand what it's like to be free.

We all have to stay strong and pick ourselves up after these acts of stupidity.

My thoughts are with all those hurt by this senseless ****.

Glad to hear your okay after this attack.

I'm afraid the war on terrorism is going to be tough one and one that will take resolve, leadership, patience and sadly, even suffering and the loss of loved ones and those that have put themselves in harms way to fight this war.

Our condolences and prayers are with you and your countrymen during this time of need.

THIS IS OUR 9/11 and it in no way is as serious as what happened in NYC but in some ways it has brought the US Citizens and ourselves in the UK a unique perspective on these types of pond life and just goes to show that we need to show them that we are stronger than them and wiser than them and show that the more they attack us the stronger the bonds between us grow

My prayers go out to my fellow countrymen to keep them safe from harm brought about by misguided fanatics.

I would only say this to those who would like to break our resolve, it was tried once before by another fanatic who wanted others to embrace his extreme ideologies at the cost of innocent lives- those extremists were beaten but we are still here

I don't know how appropriate this is, but when I read that statement, I instantly thought of one of Thomas Jefferson's famous quotes:

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."

My prayers goes out to everybody in GB as well. My cousine would have been on one of those underground trains that got hit, but she was late for work so she missed it, thank god.

                        I hate terrorists!
