A Time To Remember

As this holiday weekend is upon us I wanted to take a moment to remember all those who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we could be free to enjoy life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It's a time to remember the meaning of this national holiday and put our weekend activities in perspective.

We have so much to be grateful for and we take so much for granted. Please take a moment to remember our fallen heros through observance of The National Moment of Remembrance at 3 PM local time on Memorial Day.

Thank you for putting this holiday weekend into the proper perspective Jim. We all have those who have fought on our country's behalf to be thankful for the freedoms we enjoy today.

I would advise all to watch the Memorial Day Concert on PBS (Tonight). They have true stories of our soliders in combat that endured unthinkable horrors.

It is a very moving experience indeed.

I recorded some of the ones in years past, and I like to replay them occasionally.

It helps to keep life in perspective.
