Congratulations Michael!
We've never met, being from opposite sides of the country, but I've been following your postings and videos for the last 5 years. Whatever the breadth of your new position, you're certainly the best choice.
I hope you still will have time to advise the amateurs like me with a polisher or two and a driveway full of vehicles.
Yes, it's true. With the departure of Jason Rose we had to fill the position of Senior Global Product & Training Specialist and I went after it (big shock, huh?). Obviously a transition like this doesn't happen over night, so I'll still be teaching our Saturday Classes through the end of the year but next year's program will be run by whomever steps into the position I've just vacated. That is still a question to be answered and I'm certainly not going to speculate on that!!!
I'll still have a role on MOL but it will be diminished. This place was a big part of my life even before I came to work for Meguiar's so I can't just walk away no matter what.
I appreciate the well wishes!!
Michael Stoops
Senior Global Product & Training Specialist | Meguiar's Inc.
Remember, this hobby is supposed to be your therapy, not the reason you need therapy.
You are a big asset to Meguiars, and a great guy to boot. Don't be a stranger here on MOL!

I own a silver vehicle and a black vehicle owns me. The black one demands attention, washing, detailing, waxing and an occasional dinner out at a nice restaurant. The silver one demands nothing and it looks just fine. I think the black vehicle is taking advantage of me, and the silver car is more my style. We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Congrats indeed. Have fun over in Asia. I am sure it will be different and the same as car compassion is universal. You have been a great asset in all regards to professionalism and insight. You will be missed!

It's the internet. Nothing is secret . Will you still be around at the TNOG's when you go into full Global mode?
On top of all this, I hear it's also Mike's Birthday today!
