Anyone have experience using Menzerna PowerLock

I know this is a Meguiars forum, and I know the shine is going to come from polishing . My question is how does this Menzerna powerlock compare to nxt generation 2.0 and Ultimate liquid wax in the shine department.


Does anyone have any experience in using this product? I would hate to spend 10 bucks more for wax and find out it does the same thing as the nxt generation tech 2.0, and ULtimate liquid wax.

I haven't used any Menzerna Porducts, have used wolfgang and several other products. So I'm not going to down a product or any product but they all do offer good results, better then Meguiars? That question is in the eye of the user! Will say the Gloss comes from smoothness and Shine comes from cleanliness!

Now my opinion is that as long as you do a correct wash, claying to remove above surface bonded contaminants, and thorough cleaning to remove below surface defects it's going to be Very Hard If Not Impossible! to see with the human eye which product really produces the best shine! There's just to many variables to consider like lighting, angle, cure time, polishing oils in a product, on and on!

But will say that with the NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0 (my GoTo for adding protection to polished metals), Ultimate Liquid Wax or my favorite M26 Hi-Tech Yellow Paste Wax it's going to be hard for any product to produce a better shine then them in my opinion! But it comes down to what product brand your loyal too and/or have had the best results with that You Like And That You think looks Good To Your Eyes! Which is the most important thing in this discussion!! I'm just offering my opinion! Hope I've been of some help.

I have not used power lock but there are multiple threads over on autogeek stating how durable it is. Is it worth the extra $10? Well that's up to you if you want to give it a try. Ultimate wax is also durable. NXT will be the least durable but sill a good sealant.
