Anybody know what this is?

I saw this thing on Miami Beach this spring break. Anyone know what this is? I have wondered if it's just a crazy custom mobile, or actually a specific vehicle made by some manufacturer that is available to the public, (albeit the ultra-rich public!) Regardless, this thing is sick!

And I might add that while I couldn't see it too well, that yellow badge on the front side of the vehicle looked like a Ferrari badge. And those definitely look like F40 wheels.

The car is T-Rex, a motorcycle powered three wheeled car.

How much does that thing cost? Seems fast enough. They didn't give 1/4 mile times though.

After doing some research I found one website for a motorcycle dealership that was selling the T-Rex and had posted a listed price of around $46,000.00 USD.

Hmmmmm, I think I can buy a 'Vette for that much cash! The 0-60 on the 'Vette may be a few tenths slower, but I would feel safer at 140 in the 'Vette. But the 'Vette can also do about 180!

Still it's a neat machine, just not for me.
