  • arrrrrgggghh!!!!!!

Let me tell you guys what happened. I bought my girlfriend a brand new '05 toyota 4runner. Part of the deal was free tint. When I picked the car up, I specifically told the dealer not to prep the exterior of the 4runner (brand new cars on the lot had major swirls). I picked the car up, took off the plastic that covered the car for shipping, and hosed the car down. While driving to the tint shop, it rained and the car was filthy. I dropped the car of at the tint shop and told the guy not to wash the car at all. He insisted that he needed to wash the car because it was part of their standard procedure. I told them they can go ahead and rinse the car down but don't WASH the car. Three hours later, I go by to pick the car up. I pull in to the lot and peeked into their bay. Lo and behold, they didn't wash my car, but they were WIPING DOWN A DIRTY CAR WITH A FILTHY RAG!!!!!!
I told the guy to stop wiping my car down and he looked at me and asked "why?". I asked him if he washed the car, he replied, "no". I then colorfully replied " Only an F**(^)#@ idiot will wipe down a dirty car". I went inside and yelled at the people inside the office, especially at the guy I specifically told not wash my car. I explained to the genius that you do not wipe down a dirty car, especially with a filthy rag. I went outside to inspect the car and there is dried soap and water solution that ran down behind the dash board. They did not even attempt to clean the windshield. I cussed out the manager and told him that I will be making a formal complaint to the dealer. I left the tint shop and spoke to my salesperson, (my aunt) and she called down to the tint shop and told them that she was not going to pay for the tint job and she is not going to send anymore of her customers their way. A week goes by and the owner of the tint shop, the guy said he was sorry and he knew a guy who details cars and does a really great job and he would pay to get my car detailed. I asked who the guy was and he didn't know the name. I said fine call the guy and have him call me....five minutes later my cellphone rings. I answer and the guys says "sorry I must of pushed redial by accident". He hung up and called my cellphone again, I answered and told him "you might as well just give me a hundred dollars because I already did the 4runner." He laughed his *** off and apologized again and asked me how he can fix the situation. I told him don't worry about it because I will never deal with him or his company again. Sorry I had to vent.......this is why I never bring my mustangs to anyone. I do not trust anyone with my car. Thanks for listening

Yeah I don't trust anyone to wash my vehicles either... I always tell the dealer not to wash my truck no matter how dirty. If I do it I know it was done right and with the proper products.
