Thank you for the info. I truly enjoy hearing (reading) the back stories of peoples vehicles.

I hear ya about the Mike Phillips article re SS paint. I've sent that to quite a few folks and needless to say their eyes were wide open when they finished reading.

30+ years in the retail auto buisness...may I ask what you did (I'm just nosey)?

I started on the undercoat rack in college, to service advisor, to salesperson, then dealership management for 20 years, all with GM. My dealership was one of the stores GM terminated in the cutbacks of 2009, so I went back on the sales floor at the oldest existing Chevy Dealer in the country. Now that both kids are out of college and in grad schools, I don't need the ridiculous hours and pressure of upper management. I use a lot less antacids and aspirins than I have in many years. Barring any unexpected opportunities arising, I'll likely stay here for as long as I choose to be in the work force.

      Bill,

You truly really have had an interesting career.

Yes, it is nice to get away from the Tums and aspirin. I do kinda miss 'going to work' but not the BS. That is one time the statement, "I'm to old for this." is a trueism.

      Take care...
