  • A true "Wipe on, walk away" product?

Wondering if there is any paint protection out there that is truly wipe on, and walk away. No buffing, no wipe off, etc.

UQW is easy enough to use, but I'm looming for something even easier.

    Thanks!

Yup; it's called Opti-Coat. Do a search on it. What you'll find is that it's a semi-permanent coating that will last for a long time. It also costs $59, but it will do about three cars.

Opti-Seal, Ultima Paint Guard Plus, Blackfire Crystal Seal are all wipe-on walk away sealants.

Ultima Paint Guard Plus is definitely a true wipe on walk away. Use the provided microfiber applicator and follow the directions. It seems like you aren't putting anything on but you are. Trust the product. I've used it many times and it has not let me down. Works wonderfully on black trim too

Any idea how long the product lasts?

I, myself, do not have a solid time frame. However, I can say, I had put two quick coats 45 minutes apart and went 5 weeks without ANY washes and drove over 2,000 miles in lots of nasty rain storms and when I washed it the protection was still pretty strong. I have read posts of people claiming 5 months or more. With maintenance that's probably possible but it's so fast and easy to apply you'll probably end up doing it more often. One really nice thing about it is how little you use. A twelve ounce bottle is supposed to last between 60 to 70 applications. I found that hard to believe before I bought it but now that I've tried it I think it's completely on target. It won't give you a wax look but rather a candy coated look which I really like. I use all kinds of waxes and sealants depending on my mood but if short on time I often go for UPGP for myself and customers due to it's ease of use. It definitely delivers as promised to me. Their waterless wash is really nice too.

No problem! If I use it soon in the future I'll try to do a little demonstration

I just got a bottle of Opti-Seal last month and love it. I've used it on 3 cars so far and it is so fast and easy.

I was at the gas station today and there was a display set up at the door to the shop. I didn't really catch what it was but I did see "you won't believe the results" or something on a banner. I just thought it was an exercise machine or something.

Anyways, I started pumping the gas and this girl came up to me to tell me about a "wax in a can" that she would like to demonstrate for me.

Told her "No thanks, I use a real wax" and she walked away! Lol.
