  • Oh deer, having trouble deciding which product

    Gang,

I was thinking of trying some M105/M205 combo, some duct tape, a couple of flashlights and she will be good as new!

    What do you think?

    Stinkin' Deer!

    Drive careful folks.

Good news is a auto dismantler has what I need for less than $200 bucks. Saving the trouble of calling insurance. The damage is cosmetic after a thorough shakedown. Bent bumper brackets may be salvagable. A brush guard may be needed where I moved to in a more rural area. We have a deer warning system, just not in this particular place.....

Deer encounters are very dangerous indeed. Sorry to hear about yours, Aaron.

If you could get replacement parts for a good price - go for it. Check the areas behind front grill and right headlamps as very often there's deeper damage behind.

That's funny! Be thankful, deer can kill people or total your rig.

We would suggest that you skip the flashlights and go for some Brinkman dual xenon swirl finder lights instead. The dual bulbs will give you low beams and high beams - the next deer should see you coming a bit more easily!

Thats a great idea Mike! Good news is I found some lights cheap on ebay . In the the mean time, I had to replace the fuel pump, that was fun. Runs great, just looks terrible! Well keep you posted.

Thanks Tuck! Don't have the Yukon, Got a divorce last year, actually late 2010, the ex has the Neon, it was her car. My girlfriend has a dark blue '08 Accord that needs some major TLC though.....

I didn't keep it...I was on my way to work and after nailing it, I stopped, nothing leaking so kept going. Someone got it though, no deer, a pile of guts and plastic.....

For you Mike! Dual Brinkman as a mock up.....

Looks like a Euro option, No?
