  • New Years day on Mulholland

Driving the backroads has got to be one of the most fun things ever
My uncle and I headed for the hills on New Years Day

He was driving his 996 Carrera 4
I was driving my BMW 325i on ST coilovers

You never know just quite what is going to show up...
Driving the streets of Southern California in certain areas is like a moving car show

Sunday must be Jay's day to get out and play with his toys. I crossed paths with him in 1998 out past The Rock Store on one of his bikes.

He did a cool vid of LA's "hidden race track" a while back. 7 am on Mulholland is obviously the prime time for fun.

Here's a link to the film "Rendezvous" he refers to in the vid:

Reading this brings back way too many memories!

'Running Mulholland' and dragging on Van Nuys Blvd for $5 a gear (we weren't too real bright back then).

Nice to see some of the old still exist, a bit much safer now.

        Thanx for sharing...
