So I go to Wally world with the wife today with a hidden agenda. We needed to grab a few food items but I say I'll meet ya there in a few. Off I go to the auto motive section hoping that the new Megs Xhristmas gift pack is stocked. No such luck! However as I'm ogling over all of the product I see an older couple trying to decide between the TW headlight restoration or the Megs. Having used the TW and the Meg and the Meg clearly outperformed I felt obligated to speak. I said in my experience you will be much happier with the Meg and explained the difs. They left with the Megs I'm happy to report and I had a big grin on my face. If only I could have gotten my gift pack. I really want those small black bottles!!

You made their day and they'll appreciate it.
The armor all gift box was at the front of the store, not the auto section. I couldn't find the Meguiar's either, but be sure to check the front of the store if you go back.
I did pick up some cheapo microfibers and other off-brand items in the $2 section.

After I retired, I was selling auto parts.
Getting the customer to use Meg's was an easy process...point to my truck/car. That and they might trust the old gray headed guy...LOL.

I explain car care products to WalMart shoppers as well (and of course direct them the right way).

I do that all the time. We will go shopping or just look around and I would tell her I'll be over at the automotive section.Don't get caught riding dirty!Comment
