The connection has timed out







The server at www.meguiarsonline.com is taking too long to respond.

Same old problems for past 6 months. Site is slow with NO TRAFFIC. Should look int replacing or updating your server or service. Band-Width is too small for this site? Am I the only one with this problem?

This is the first time I've had the problem, but assumed it was due to the update related to the 2012 announcements and a number of folks accessing the site during the update process.

I'm using the mobile app and it's horribly slow. There must be a massive influx of people trying to see the new 2012 line. As soon as noon hit here in Boston, I tried to get into a thread about the new products and I would get similar error message.

Our apologies for the slowness of the server at the moment. Mark, not sure where you're getting the number 24 but we have in excess of 400 users online at the moment. While even that doesn't sound like a lot, depending on the number of images being called at any given time, etc, it can slow things down. We've been in touch with our IT/web group and they're looking into it

Sorry about that ,,,most of the people that are on are actually not people ,,it's Google and Yahoo spiders which are on 24/7. last I checked was 34 members and the rest are guests like Spiders.
Don't mean to be a complainer Mike, but this has been going on for a while and I brought the subject numerous times. Yes you share same server with your other site but in my opinion there are other issues here. I will look into it little more and will not be posting it since it solves nothing. Mike you go and have fun and enjoy yourself. Thanks.

Agreed. On the home page, Mark, of you look in the active users section on the left of the screen, there was about 50 registered users and 450 guests at the time of my last post. Now there is about 250.
