  • 2012 Product Guesses

Alright so I'm bored here at college on a friday evening. I know, how could I be bored on a friday night in college lol.

But anyway, why not start taking guesses at the 2012 products

    Here are mine:

    5.5" pads
    Ultimate Paint Cleaner
    Waterless Wash

Those are my guesses for now.

    Let the guessing begin!

Maybe some sort of decontamination product similar to IronX?

I would love to see something like this.

I'm not anticipating many new products since last year was such a huge year, but who knows.

I'd like to see a high-tech version of the old consumer Cleaner Wax. Update it with the latest cleaners, add the hydrophobic qualities and long-term protection of the NXT / Ultimate line and keep it as idiot-proof for hand application as it's been for all these years. Ultimate Cleaner Wax maybe? Seems like a winner to me!

I would love to see a wheel cleaner something like sonax/brown royal in the detailer line and I second Tucks idea of ironx

these are all products I have not tried but from what I have read I like the looks

If Meguiars could come with these two products I think that would be great
It seems like wheel brighteners as a category could be replaced with some of these "modern" wheel cleaners

I'm thinking there will be an ultimate liquid wax 2.0.

Nick, I'd love a similar product like IronX from Meguiar's... Perhaps at least a wheel cleaner that turns red like Sonax.

I think a no rinse or waterless wash is in the works as well.

                  Meguiar's 2012 Products: Your Predictions

Let's brainstorm the products that Meguiar's may release in 2012.
Just list anything you think may be released in a post.

                  Predictions...
                  New Polish
                  Larger/different sized microfiber towels
                  Carpet/Cloth Cleaner

                  Off Topic...
I doubt Meguiar's will release it, but it would be nice to have a kit for general maintenance. Meguiar's currently has a wheel maintenance, paint restoration, and a new car kit. But a general use kit would be nice, one containing a moderate amount of wax, the 48 ounce container of car wash, A wheel cleaner, tire protectant, and maybe a foam applicator pad. Interior wipes and or a microfiber towel would be nice too.

I have to got for now, if I think of more, I will update this later today.

                  What are YOUR predictions?

I agree! I think there's a fair bit of pressure to make ULW more user-friendly..

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

How about an Opti-Seal type product?

Goes on clear, no buffing required.

                              Here's a few more...
                              Meguiar's auto air freshener
                              Meguiar's wheel brush
Meguiar's Even Coat Terry cloth applicator

Perhaps a glass cleaner that also applies a water repellent similar to rainX? Maybe Ultimate Window Cleaner?
                              Meguiar's steering wheel cover?
