Question:

If I use APC+ at 10:1 dilution for inside the door jambs (Where the hinges, check-strap, wiring harness are).
Agitate with a brush.
I then rinse off with clean water correct?
The APC+ won't affect the paint any will it?

Note: I'm not going to be spraying tons of the stuff in there and will not allow it to dry.

Yeah, pretty much.

Some people do it all the time, so must not be an issue. Might affect any grease on the hinges, etc more.

Just watch for a soft brush of course.

Ok Murr, I got one for you!

SO I was changing the brake calipers on my Mustang a few weekends ago...

After I was finished, I brought the old caliper back to AutoZone to get my core charge back. Well, some brake fluid leaked from the box and onto my leather seats. Looks as if it ate away at the top coating of the leather. Sprayed some Meguiars cleaner/conditioner on it but nothing. Scrubbed it with water and it seams better, but still very noticable, and kinda sticky.

Brake fluid is deadly, will ruin anything in no time.

A word of advice, if you ever get brake fluid in your mouth, drink milk.
Your mouth really starts swelling up and closing on you.
I'm speaking from experience here, I'll never try to **** brake fluid through a dark straw again.

Well, the 'top' layer of the leather is basically a clear coat to protect it from regular use. If the brake fluid ate that away, you wont be able to get it back.
