Why cant girls that love detailing find guys that love detailing or visa versa.

I guess girls like me who take care of her cars and wax and detail them are rare!

My wife loves it when I wash her car and get it all clean. I just enjoy the time outside and the finished product (two shiny Mustangs )

well, my girlfriend really support my hobby, she even buy me DA polisher, UQW, ect ...

she even once made me a towel with meguiar water magnet for bathing... yes, for ME, not my CAR ...

she usually help me clay my car, wipe off the residu while i'm polishing, help me waxing, dressing tires and trim, and teach some of my friends how to use meguiar products...

So in return, i use meguiar product to clean her leather bag, wallet,ring ,necklace, iphone, shoes, ect ... So she love meguiars too, and she said to me that when we are married, i have to stock meguiar products in our home...

And of course my family love meguar too, since i use this product to clean my home, kitchen set, ect...

so i have a tips, maybe you should help your wife cleaning your home with meguiar, and who know, maybe they wiill give you set of meguiar products for your birthday present
She sometime make joke of me, saying that i treat my car more than i treat my self.. ( this is why she made me a "water magnet towel " ,human version, for me and buy me MF wash mitt for bathing )

My wife is very supportive in my addiction but tries to keep me grounded in being practical about it.

If ever anything happens, I will use the analogy of our detailing products being like their bags/shoes.

+1 big time. My wife's shoes and handbags outnumber my detailing supplies at least 2 to 1!

For quite sometime whenever I wash both our cars my wife consistently questions me why it takes me too long just to wash our cars (and even 10x longer to wash and wax them). She even questions me why I have to clean our cars even for her if its not dirty (I tell her we have different standards). When she notices her colleagues at work can't help but notice how clean and well maintained her car was she finally got into her senses and stopped questioning me and now she just gives me a nice smile and says... I think my car is already dirty... she now even thinks taking my annual day off from work just to clean our car is no longer weird... its my therapy!!!

Well I'm a woman myself, and I spend hours on my cars cleaning and detailing them. I guess I spend so much time on them outside, the neighbors have strangely started washing their cars more often.

I get comments like 'its just a buick' and I say 'no, its a beautiful Buick!'

Boyfriend, he thinks I spend too much time into detailing the inside, haha

Let's be honest: most women have NO respect for machinery and just can't see the theraputic effect changing your own oil or making the vehicle shine. I mean, have you seen some of the interiors on chick cars and vans on this site!

I get asked to clean her car... however an hour into she comes out and says "are you done yet?" I say no honey and she sighs and goes back inside. That lasts for about two hours. I am at least done with the wash. If I am doing a full detail I make sure she is going to work and I can stay home with the car.
