Re: What does your Girlfriend/Wife say...
The BMW is the wife's daily driver and I only get to drive it if it is kept clean. So the question come this way, "why do I always drive the car when it's dirty" . LOL

Re: What does your Girlfriend/Wife say...
My wife intentionally parks her Victory Red Chevy next to other red cars in parking lots just to make them look bad. Seriously. She says she intentionally seeks them out and parks right next to them. It's sort of scary side of her I never knew existed before.

Re: What does your Girlfriend/Wife say...
My wife of 38 years has been totally supportive......then one day I said we should find a perfume that was just like one of the Meguiars products.......well that didn't go over too well.

Re: What does your Girlfriend/Wife say...
My wife thinks I am kind of paranoid. I think we are at the opposite ends of the spectrum.
She washes her car only once, maybe twice a year, while I wash mine once or twice a week, plus (when needed) claying, protectants, wax, polishing, dressings, etc...

My wife really doesn't mind how much time I spend cleaning our cars. She loves the way they look all the time..

Simple response, "Would you rather have me sit at the corner bar for few hours?"

My situation is at the other end of the spectrum. She encourages me and demands (that's a bit harsh...requests) I keep her car clean. She has her own supplies: duster, UQW, UQD, mitt, bucket with grit guard, UWW, waffle weave, and microfibers. She's killer on glass. She knows who Mr. Stoops is (would probably request autograph if she ever met him), but draws the line at running a buffer. Although the MFDA system tempted her.

Re: What does your Girlfriend/Wife say...
These are totally the responses I thought there would be.
"Aaagh, it looks so nice and clean, thank you. But why did it take you so long you only use a bucket with some washing up liquid in".
"Yes dear, that's all it takes. Stop spraying cans of coke around the inside of the car and put your make up on in your own room".

Re: What does your Girlfriend/Wife say...
I get that too, "why does it take two hours to wash the car..." ITS NOT JUST A WASH! lol I also got this weekend, "I can wash a car in 30 minutes..." she doesn't know the depth of all the things I do to the car, and I try to explain but still no diceI'll just continue to do it properly, and have fun while

Re: What does your Girlfriend/Wife say...
I get the " you spend to much time on the car " but thanks for making my car look nice. She loves that her car is clean all the time, well most of the time, but hates that I will take 2-3 hours each time doing it lol. Guess some ( I said some ) women dont understand our passion for taking care of cars/trucks!

What does your Girlfriend/Wife say...
My Girlfriend states that I have some sort of mental health issue due to the amount and extent to which I clean both our cars.
My argument:
A) A clean vehicle is a happy vehicle.
B) You've never been seen in a dirty vehicle since we have been together.
How do you all get on with your other halves reaction?
P.s It beats watching untold re-runs of SATC.
