And now a few pics from after the event. Greg was nice enough to allow me to test out his PE14-2 rotary on his gorgeous BMW.

We used a W8207 with M205 at about 1200 rpm followed by a round of 900 rpm. M205 on this rotary is so smooth and is really easy to use. No wonder Mike Stoops loves this combo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Greg giving her the maiden voyage.

hen. he was generous enough to let me try out the Flex 3401. Thanks Greg!!!!

      Great pics, Shawn.

The Event was really tons of fun. I liked when people asked you how to make car paint so dark, glossy and wet like your Honda's. Now they know.

We're Car Crazy so of course we had to put M205 into testing with different polishers/ pads right after The Show. I liked M205/ W8207/ Flex PE14-2 combo as well. Great results.

Great pics of the event Shawn! Now where are the pictures of your civic? What did you do to make it really glossy?

Hey Greg, did you get to try the Flex PE with M205 via a 9207 finishing pad?

As I remember Shawn said that M205 works really well on his delicate paint.

We've tried M205 with LC Gold Jewelling pad on Flex 3401. It works well too.

Looks great! I used to live in Jersey...sad I moved because I would have loved to attend. Question: Sean and Greg, did y'all use 105 or a compound before using 205? Is it fine to just polish and wax with the DA frequently? I know using it with the compound can go through the clearcoat, over time. Is that the same for using the DA regardless or are you fine with polish/wax?

I had to use M105 first as the vehicle had some deep scratches and swirls. I left some RIDS (random isolated deep scratches) as they were too deep to safely remove without risking too much clear coat removal.

Sean has the opposite situation: he deals with a delicate paint. M205 with either polishing or finishing pad is all he needs in most cases.

Dual action polishers are definitely safe. Once or twice a year treatment on your car with Ultimate Compound using D/A polishers shouldn't unbalance clear coat's protection for your vehicle's lifetime.

There is a lot of discussion about how aggressive one product is compared to another, often between products that aren't even designed to do quite the same task. Many of you have seen the cut scale shown on the side of most Mirror Glaze products but you may not be clear on just what they mean. On the bottle of M105 Ultra Cut

Great shots, Shawn, and thanks for participating in the show! We know the weather was really threatening and that kept some people away, but for you to make the trip out means a lot to us.

Yup. No Problem Mike! I decided that as long as the event was held, I was going to be there.
