            Re: Anyone Facebook

You have to be kidding. High school girls seem to believe everything they do 24/7 is of interest to the world. It's not.

There is nothing more pathetic than grown ups posting personal information on the internet. I guess Andy Warhol was right. Now, instead of 15 minutes, every twit with an internet connection gets to believe that he/she has an ultra interesting life all the time.

You weren't the popular kid in high school. Nothing's changed. Stop wasting valuable bandwidth with personal claptrap.

It's like those women who insist on sending a "personal update" to all of their 250 "close friends" along with their Christmas cards.

            1. If you think you have 250 close friends....

            2. You don't.

            3. Nobody really cares about your bedroom remodel, Billy's fourth place in T-ball and Amy's braces.

            I'm gonna hurl.

I'm guessing you created a FB page and nobody would join???

              I love FB.....
1.I'm in touch with friends and family I haven't seen in years and or live across the U.S.
2.We organize goodies for the troops, food for poor, and other similar events with facebook....
              3. I use it to spread the word about my business. I am constant contact with those that do business with me and I have made many new customers from those customers friends.

I can go on and on but those three reason are enough.

                You're the atypical Facebookist.

I can understand and support business and charity use. I was referring to personal nonsense, wasn't I?

The next time I hurl on some Facebookist's car, I'll have them call Superior Shine for a detail.

At least forum members all share a common disease. Take this place as an example. Where else can you post forty three 3000 pixel wide photos of the same swirl on a Mercedes hood taken from 43 different angles and not be considered a loon?

(Picture yourself explaining that on the stand in court and the judge not sending you to treatment.)

Now that I think of of it, maybe "The next time I hurl on some Facebookist's car, I'll have them call Superior Shine for a detail." should be by forum signature.

                        Re: Anyone Facebook

I used to, but I did notice that mainly there were 3 types of Facebookers.

1.) Those that spent every waking hour on there
                        2.) Farmvillers
3.) People that rarely signed on, but just sent spam 'join this cause' links

I stopped and deleted mine when pics of my son started showing up in google searches. Not worth it.

I had done it to share pics with family, not I just use a passworded online photo album through Flickr that family has access to whether they have a Facebook type account or not. I've been reducing my online exposure lately. It's scary when you google something and you see pictures you've posted show up in unrelated searches...
