  • Pics of new tint!

Hey yall! I decided to go with 5% in the rear. Today I found out my original tint is @ 40%!!! No wonder it was so damn light! Legal in GA is 29%...weird!!! IDK why they went so high, thats what happens when you let ur dad go to the tint place with your car. lol

Here is a before pic (40% all around):

Here is after - 40% front 2 doors and 20% windsheild strip, and now 5% rear...

I hope the police dont mess with me Time will tell. I think their main concern is seeing the driver. Let me know what you think!!! For only $90 plus then stripping the original, and a lifetime warranty, I am VERY satisified

        Looks good.
The concern with the law is the fact that if you’re in an accident the glass on the drivers window and the pass side windows will not break as it was designed to do. (Into little squares). Making a rescue attempt harder for the emergency responders.

            Not at all.

            "Why is tint illegal?"

            1. Drivers must be able to make eye contact with all other drivers and pedestrians day and night.
            2. The safety glass installed in vehicles is designed to break into small cubes in the event of a collision, an occupant’s head hitting the glass; or emergency personnel needing to rescue an occupant. Once the tint/glazing material is applied to the glass, it prevents the glass from breaking in the way it was designed. The added material holds the glass together. This increases the risk of serious injury or death to the occupants of the vehicle.

Na. It's just the internet. It makes everthing sound negitive even when you're trying not to be. I should of clarified my last post. I was referring to the US vs Canada regarding automotive safety. Nothing more. Sorry if you read more than that into my post.
