  • UQD Ultimate Quick Detailer

Even though i hate rain as much as any car freak.

I cant help being fascinated by the looks of my black legacy 2.5GT when freshly detailed and the rain just sits there looking really goood and by the time i hit 110km/h 65 mp/h the car is almost dry

I washed it with NXT schampoo and after watermagnet drying i used UQD Ultimate quick detailer to wipe down the entire car. I usually use the UQW Ultimate quick wax but i think maybe, just maybe, the UQD made the surface a little more slippy for the water, am i right or am i just dreaming it?

    Thanx for great products Meguiar!
But they are a bit pricy here in Sweden!

Usually you would use UQD between washes and UQW after washing your car. They both have Hydrophobic Polymers so you're gonna see water beading for sure.

Nice picture. Who wouldn't like that ?

Yes ive heard that you can "light wash" your car with UQD.

But i just cant see how it wont scratch my surface without using like 20 microfibertowels for 1 car Maybe ill give it a try when its not been more than a few days after washing but 1 week or 2 then its washing time..

You're right, Eric. If a vehicle has some light dust then UQD is good to go but if it's dirty you risk inflicting swirls/ scratches.

Use of car duster before a quick detailer may help as well and of course plenty of microfiber towels, as you mentioned.

I've used both the UQW and UQD on a very regular basis...I just used UQD this morning on my black car. Car was loaded with pollen from the spring blooming trees so I dusted the car first with the california duster, then went to work with the UQD....20 minutes later, the car looks fabulous. The most important thing to me is how the car is maintained in order to get the best results from using a product like UQD...I haven't "washed" my car in two weeks since we've had so much rain here...I've UQD'd it twice in that two week period and it's the shiniest car in the parking lot this morning...the Mequiars Supreme Shine MF towels are the only ones I use and it definitely makes a difference.
