Your vehicle either fits the criteria of a MPV or it doesn't. Plain and simple. Sounds like you haven't talked to someone who knows what they're talking about. Yes, we cannot give legal advise, but we can certainly explain a law to you.

We agree with the first part, not so much with the second part of this.

This is a detailing forum, not a legal referral forum, not an explanation/interpretation of law forum.

SX4DUDE2013, you've made several posts here on MOL regarding mods to your vehicle, more than once asking advice on a legal matter, and MOL is simply not the forum (dual meaning intended) for those types of questions. Again, more than once we've had to shut down a thread that turned nasty when this sort of discussion ensued and we'd rather not have to do it again should this thread follow that trend.

Don't get us wrong here, we aren't mad at you, you aren't in trouble, this is not a warning that you're facing a temporary ban. It's just a bit of advice that you'll likely find better answers to your non detailing questions elsewhere - tire and suspension mods are common discussions on vehicle specific forums (nobody knows how a given car responds to any mod better than those who have already done it) and legal matters for a particular state are best answered through that state's DMV, Secretary of State's Office, etc.

Thank you for the advice. I wasnt necessarly looking for legal advice. Just an honest onpinon of what the population thought after reading what was presented. Thats all. Def not trying to start anything. lol
Sorry if it came off the wrong way...

Sorry Mike, just a misunderstanding on your part. I'm a law enforcement officer (LEO), so I was just telling the OP the way we (LEOs) operate. We (LEOs) cannot give legal advise, however we can explain a law to someone. That's what I was meaning, not we (as in forum members) can explain laws.

Fully understood. However, you two are in different states and discussing it on our forum. If one person explains something and the other misunderstands it, and the info was given on this forum, there are potential liability issues here. We'd rather just keep anything dealing with legal issues, no matter how small, off MOL.

I agree. That's why I recommended he contact the local law enforcement. I'm not going to explain another state's laws to someone over the internet.
