  • NewProduct That You Guys Should Consider...

I know this isn't a Meg's product, but it's something we should all have in our arsenal on tools! Hope this doesn't offend any of you.

I'm sure we've all used the Magic Eraser, and know the absolutely outstanding results they offer in the right situation. But Rick has a new Magic Eraser that's on steroids!!!!! check out this link and you'll be able to see the differences. One of my biggest complaints about the original Magic Eraser is that they just fall apart so fast! With this new improved version, they last about 5-10 times longer! And that is not an exaggeration!

Anyhow, try it and you'll see the differences these new ones provide.

      Thanks for the tip, Nick.

I saw it at ADS a week ago and was just wondering if it's an useful and good product.

Every once in a while, Rick will send me something to get my opinion on it before he decides to stock it. I called him as soon as I used this thing and told him to get me more!!! He said he had none to send me, and I told him I was Driving to Phoenix to kick his butt! LOL!

As soon as he got them in stock, I ordered an entire box of them! So yes, they are a winning product!

Yeah, they work "OK" for carpet cleaning. There are better ways(obviously), but when you're in a bind, they will work,

Maybe on the right kind of carpet/fabric it would be good.

He said carpet in general, regardless of kind/fabric.

                  Nick,

Any idea if this product would work at all in getting wax residue off black plastic trim or white water spots off of black plastic?

Yes and Yes! Although, you may need to use a little APC with it on the wax removal, and maybe the water spots also. They aren't that expensive, so it wouldn't hurt too much to buy one and try it.

Thanks! I'm definitely going to give it a try. I have a ton of white residue from water drying on the black plastic of my grille and a few other places. If this product works and gets the plastic back to new looking...I think I might have to coat the plastic with some type of clear paint or something to prevent it from happening again.

First let me say "SORRY MEGUIAR'S"

Then, Griots has a rubber cleaner(in the red liquid, 35oz) that I've had pretty good success with. Not too expensive either. The trick with it is to let it set for a bit before scrubbing and rinsing.

                        Again, "SORRY MEG'S!!!!!!!!!"

No disrespect to Rick but check this site out.

Our shop goes through hundreds of sponges a month,so the big boss man said to find them wholesale and this is where we get them now.

Havent used the Griots offerings but I will say lately I have been using Stoners Tarminator to strip clean rubber/weatherstripping.

Works good, figure I would pass that info along.

Wonder if they're gonna carry these new sponges with the cheese in the middle?

                              Edit: Nevermind, they already do
