Ahhhh....spring along the Mississippi River
This is my landlord's building along the Mississippi River. Flood stage is 16 feet and this is 21.5 feet. Expecting rain tonight. The problem with rain is it gets water on both sides of sand bag dam.

A view from inside of the building. Notice the camera setup in the corner. The camera is to prevent theft of the pumps located outdoors behind the sand bags.

Here we see the track crews delivering ballast to raise the tracks. They will raise the tracks to be able to keep using them as long as possible. Water is going up over the current track level.

My landlord still has a couple of cars on the "show room" floor at the high end of the building. Most of the renters have moved their stored cars to other locations. All floor drains are plugged with expansion plugs, toilets pulled off the floor and piping plugged in order to prevent water from entering the building through the storm and sanitary systems. I rent space to perform paint cleaning activities and have stopped working till the water recedes. If I only had a radio controlled scale boat!!
