Not seeing a picture - just a box that says "This photo is currently unavailable." Can you upload it to the MOL gallery?Shane

Unfortunately I see that a lot. Reminds me of bare sheet metal that has been ground in prep for paint.
That's almost as good as when I was in grade school. The mom of one of the kids in my class decided to wash and wax the family charcoal gray Olds 88 Station Wagon (or whatever that boat of a mid / late 80's wagon was called). Apparently she missed the step in the directions where it said to wipe away after drying. There was white wax residue everywhere on that thing for years - at least until they sold it. Being 10 or 11 when it happened, I could tell that wasn't right - thanks dad for using Meguiar's when I was younger and demanding that his cars stay clean inside and out.

Yeah, that's pretty bad. I've seen some trails that are very neatly spaced vertically or horizontally at least those were done nicely. This on the otherhand looked like the detailer was going 100 mph.
Rasky is probably right. Maybe they were going for that ghost flame look.Jesse

Re: So, I'm waiting at a stop light and...
We saw a stretch Caddy limo in Las Vegas during SEMA that was done by someone with even more hologram-inducing skill. With no camera readily available and it all happening very quickly, there is no photographic evidence.
But imagine this: perfect vertical holograms, evenly spaced perhaps 18-24" apart, running all the way down the side of the stretch limo. Looked almost like zebra stripes, but they were darn near perfect. Someone was very, very methodical in messing up the paint. Pretty amazing, actually, that anyone can do "bad" so uniformly.Michael Stoops
