My son has his first gig tonight!

Thought I would share this with my forum friends...

My son who turned 12 on Valentines Day, has his first gig tonight. He's lead singer and one of the lead guitar players in his rock band class and the band is playing for a birthday party tonight.

I can't even begin to share how proud I am of him...

Here he is as a baby in Dad's Drag Boat

This is Rand playing in the Milk Truck, I mounted a Honda CRX seat between the two bucket seats where it would sit higher so he could easily see where we were going...

Here he is using the Two Bucket Method to help Dad wash a Corvette...

These pictures were taken here at Meguiar's during one of our classes and another at the Batmobile Extreme Makeover... he was 7 years old in the first picture and 9 years old in the picture of him buffing on the Batmobile.

Of course, like most boys he's a huge fan of Batman and Spiderman

He plays an Ibanez Bio Armor Guitar with his Fender G-DEC Amp :

    Here's the songs they're playing,
    Back in Black - AC/DC
Sweet Child O' Mine - Guns N' Roses
    Enter Sandman - Metallica
    Paranoid - Black Sabbath
Smoke on the Water - Deep Purple
    Don't Stop Believin' - Journey

    Pretty cool!

      That is really cool!

Nice to see fathers who still know how to be supportive of their children.

      Good luck Rand!

He's a big boy now. Kids grow so fast.

How does he know all these rock classics? Impressive.

You truly must be very proud of him, Mike.

So someone on another forum asked if he should let his son run his DA... So I referred hom over to this thread for your pics, Mike.

Those songs are pretty hard to play live - I'm sure they're gonna rock
