  • Makes a father proud....

    From my son's facebook page:

"Beautiful day for cleaning cars.. clayed it, waxed it, polished it, detailed inside and out, vacuumed, shampooed, conditioned the leather seats, clayed, waxed and dressed the tires and rims, cleaned the engine, polished all the chrome, and washed the windows. Nothing makes me happier than a clean car!"

    i'm beaming!! Ain't life grand!

Sounds like you have him going on the right track, and thats a great feeling. Tonight I had the chance to join my son at the Meguiar's TNOG session and we had a great time.

I am sure seeing the passion and the love for what he has done and how he expresses it on a social media such as "Facebook" sure makes a parent happy!

Over the past 5 years my son and I had the opportunity to restore our 53 Ford F100 and I have this to say......"The memories are worth a million, they will last for years and the passion will be passed on!!

Many countless hours, days, weeks and years have got us to this point of our restoration, but I must say it sure is a great feeling cruising to "Coffee & Cars" on Saturday morning with my son

Great looking truck! My stepdaughter comes out and helps me clean the cars more often than not nowadays. She wants to learn how to do it so when she gets a car, she knows "how to do it the right way."

That's awesome !!!...my son understands that if you want something to last you need to take care of it...the great part of that is that it applies to everything you do in life, relationships, kids, pets...everything...he posted pics on facebook too...the pics of you and your son getting down and dirty restoring that truck are priceless...you're right, memories are the one thing in life that NO ONE can take away from you...it's what makes life great...

Bill, that must have been a great find for you on your son's Facebook page - a great way to spend the day alright!!

David, I've seen your truck at Cars & Coffee but had no idea it was yours!

Mike, it was a huge surprise...I knew he liked his car clean but to declare it to the FB world means he is "passionate" about it...all you can do is point them in the right direction...the rest is up to them
