It is but I dont really care. I have my front windows tinted to match the rear windows and I have the whole windshield tinted at 50%.

I want my car my way and if that means being illegal I'll just take the tixs and pay them.

joe and i both had ours done by scott. he is a painter by trade and does this for a living as well as upgrades for cars/trucks. there are also 3-5 coats of clear coat on the tails.

leave this to the pros guys. i've never seen anyone do this by themselves w/night shades and have it look like a mirror. i'm not even sure if scott uses night shades.

Yeah, thought so. Hence why I thought it was a different process to just Night Shades - the finish looks too good for that!

VHT night shades. its a spray paint designed for tinting lenses.
lots of work involved with this process.wet sanding and polishing the lenses before spraying. then more wet sanding and polishing followed by more layers of the spray.
