  • Dart update

So i got it back yesterday from having the lower control arm bushing pressed and installed and originally this car leaned to the left a little due to the control arm being bent but it turns out that the old control arm was fractured right where the lower ball joint was and it was bent 3 inches up causing it to ride funny. so far after owning the car 3 weeks i have invested about 2,300 dollars into the car and its finally coming together only need the upper control arm bushings and upper ball joints and it will be completely brand new in the front end and i have my self a dependo rig. Ill post some pics of the new control arm after it stops raining again.
so far i have done on my checklist for making it a drivable car
    -all new brakes
    -radiator
    - Carburetor
    - lower control arm
    - driver side lower ball joint
i am doing it in small peices due to almost spending all my funds, total spent on the car including purchase is a whopping 4,200 dollars . by ends time i have to spend another 400 for my exhaust system in spring and a paint job and it will be done so i will probably invest a grand total of 5,000 into it

I feel you on the exhaust system, I'm getting mine done in spring on my cutlass. Its going to cost a few hundred but it will be true dual plus no more catalytic converter.I'm not really going for performance, but I figure I might as well delete the cat plus with the dual it will breath and sound a whole lot better.

Don't forget to check the steering box & pitman arm on the Dart once the front end is back together. They're notorious for looseness in both. Good Luck!
